Project idea: an arduino controlled boat. the boat should be able to accelerate and turn from commands given by the arduino. a remote control will likely be added to make it more fun and easy to control. if this is less difficult than we thought, other additions such as a turret may be added to the boat.. I spent this weekend learning the arduino board and the programming code and would like to get my hands dirty on this first project. it is based on the mpguino project i saw on the web, however, it is for a boat, and is going to be a digital guage cluster for the boat.. I based this off of this really nice instructables.com post for building a water bottle boat, with some additions for obstacle avoidance and light-guided control. i used arduino as a microcontroller, an ultrasonic sensor in the front, a few simple switches on the side of the boat, and a few light sensors on either side.. By gunner lee fifth class fifth class my servos were very slow they crawled side ways and not the speed i wanted they also couldn't do a 360 only a 270 . the project wasn't working the way i wanted it to so i had to get a solution third class code seventh class #include <servo.h>.
